Experienced Baker

Overview

SWN is assisting a Hamilton-based venue to attract suitable employees to join their expanding team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Capabilities:

  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Operating kitchen machinery (mixers, ovens), cleaning equipment

  • Time management skills

  • Assist with helping out Kitchen if required

  • Flexibility with the hours.

  • Highly efficient to ensure goods are ready before the cafe opens.

  • Monitoring product quality, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a hygienic workstation.

  • Managing proofing and baking times, decorating, icing, and glazing products to make them appealing for display.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Baker or equivalent experience

  • Prior baking experience is usually preferred; a Food Handler’s Certificate would be a requirement

  • Take pride in what you do

  • Be friendly, reliable and a great communicator

  • Available to start ASAP

About The Company

Casual : 3 days per week / Flexible hours
Location: Hamilton, TAS
