Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand
Overview
SWN is assisting a local cafe/restaurant to recruit for a Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join their team. This is an entry level position that may be suitable for a first job, part-time commitment or an opportunity to pick-up additional hours.
Requirements
Availability 3-4 days/week from 6pm to 9:30pm (approx)
Entry Level position - No experience required; training provided
Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, cookware and kitchen equipment
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure all items are cleaned, sanitised, and stored correctly
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, floors, and waste stations
Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties as required
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
Dispose of rubbish and recycling appropriately
Support kitchen staff during busy periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Reliable, punctual and physically fit
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
