Image depicting the role.

Overview

The AEC has over 3,000 temporary jobs available across Tasmania at the next election.

Although the date for the election is yet to be announced, it could be called at any time and must be held by May 2025 at the latest. Given this, we are working to ensure we have the temporary workforce we need to run the event.

There are jobs available before, on and after election day in the Brighton area.

All jobs are paid, no experience is required and training is provided. The only requirements to work at a federal election are that you must be at least 18 years old, an Australian citizen and politically neutral.

It’s a great opportunity for members of your community to get involved – and we need your help to spread the word.

Thank you in advance for helping us to serve your community.

Requirements

The only requirements to work at a federal election are:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
