Experienced Barista
Overview
SWN is assisting a local cafe/restaurant to recruit for a Experience Barista to join their team. This position is a leading position and will be pivotal future breakfast service.
Requirements
Start time 6.30am to 2pm flexibility
Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and other beverages
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
Deliver consistent quality, including milk texturing and basic latte art
Take customer orders and process payments using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and customer spaces
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and restocking
Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to customer enquiries
Work effectively as part of a team
Skills and Attributes:
Experience using espresso machines and coffee-making equipment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
