Waternish Engineering is recruiting multiple permanent full-time Mechanical Tradespersons to support upcoming and ongoing water infrastructure projects located in Tasmania (various project locations).
These positions offer the opportunity to work with multi-skilled teams across a diverse and growing portfolio of projects. Some interstate travel may be required depending on project demands.

Requirements
The Role:
This permanent full-time site-based positions will be located in Tasmania.
Key duties include:
Installation and modification of PVC and stainless-steel piping
Installation of process and mechanical equipment
Fault diagnosis and rectification
Minor fabrication and mechanical assembly
Working within safe systems of work and contributing to team success
Minimum Requirements:
Cert III Mechanical Engineering OR Trade Certification in an Associated/Allied Discipline
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (Class C)
Successful completion of a Pre-employment Medical
Desirable Skills:
Dogging and/or Rigging
Construction Industry White Card
Highly Regarded Competencies:
Heavy vehicle licence (MR, HR or HC)
Working at Heights
Confined Space
EWP/Scissor Lift
Vehicle-mounted crane or higher crane licence
Basic Scaffolding
Forklift HRWL
Telehandler
