Guarding for Life

Overview

SWN are partnering with the Southern Midlands Council to deliver a Pool Lifeguarding accreditation to community members in the Oatlands, New Norfolk, Bothwell, Ross, Campbell Town and Bushy Park areas.

This training will allow local people to gain employment in the area in which they live and allow pools in these regions to remain open.

Cost: FREE - Fully Funded
Date(s): 15th & 16th March 2025
Time(s): 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: Oatlands Aquatic Centre - 70 High Street, Oatlands, TAS.
Training Partner: Royal Life Saving Tasmania

Participants must also take part in an online Communication and Conflict Resolution workshop delivered by TasTAFE.
