Overview

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
SWN has coordinated an 8-week training program that will provide participants with the opportunity to gain the following practical skills and accredited licences.

HANDS-ON & PRACTICAL SKILLS:
Table setting and clearing (restaurant standard)
Waiting skills and table services
Coffee machine training
Housekeeping (accommodation standard)
Work experience – On the job with a local business

ACCREDITED TRAINING & LICENCES:
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG)
Gaming Attendant/Keno Writer

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
Industry tours and introduction to local employers
Conflict and communication workshop
Mental health workshop
Resume and interview skills workshop
One on one mentoring
